Huê Thi (b.1982) is a Vietnamese/Caucasian Painter and Designer living in Hudson, New York. He studied painting and sculpture at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

” Through painting, I aim to capture the sensation of passing time, space, and emotions through gesture, mark-making, color, composition, and value. I’m interested in how different materials and surfaces influence the spaces around them and how the finished work then affects the space it is in. Moreover, I am interested in creating a peaceful, sometimes playful ethereal moment held still as a picture. ”
