These images are from a body of work titled ‘Song of Silence, Song of Grace.’ An ongoing series that reflects my desire to reconnect with nature. Something I did with ease as a child playing in dirt and mud, climbing trees, and exploring dark woodland around our family farm. But that was before I grew up and traded experiencing life for acquiring experiences. Before I stopped calling nature by her name. Before I stopped protecting her. Before we became strangers, and I lost touch with that intuitive child-like understanding of the earth as an intelligent living body.  

This work is my pilgrimage, my confession, my amends.
